| 58 | Seit dem Schuljahr 2022/23 hat die KGS Stuhr-Brinkum einen neuen „Mitarbeiter“: Fiete, einen geprüften Schulhund. Die Idee hatte die Lehrerin Yvana Gettel, die mit ihrem jungen Hund – einer Mischung aus Golden Retriever, Schäferhund und Australian Shepherd – eine Hundeschule besuchte. Dort erhielt Fiete eine spezielle Ausbildung, um seine Besitzerin im „Team“ in den Schulunterricht begleiten und unterschiedliche Aufgaben übernehmen zu dürfen. | ||

| 60 | Nachdem Schulleitung, Gesamtkonferenz und Elternvertretung dem ungewöhnlichen Projekt zugestimmt hatten, bezog Fiete einen eigenen Raum im Schulgebäude mit einer bequemen Box als Unterkunft. Seitdem nimmt er an ein oder zwei Tagen in der Woche am Unterricht teil und sorgt – in Absprache mit seiner Besitzerin – für eine Belebung des Unterrichts im positiven Sinne: Schülerinnen und Schüler zeigen sich bei Fietes Anwesenheit ruhiger, interessierter und motivierter als im normalen Schulalltag. | ||
