65 Anlässlich des 40-jährigen Bestehens der KGS Stuhr-Brinkum fand am 23. September 2016 in der Mensa der Schule ein Festakt statt. Geladen waren unter anderem die Dezernentin der KGS, der Landrat, der Bürgermeister der Gemeinde Stuhr, Ratsmitglieder, zahlreiche Vereinsvertreter, Sponsoren und Förderer der Schule sowie das Kollegium und ehemalige Lehrkräfte und Mitarbeitende.

67 Im Vorfeld der Jubiläumsfeier gab es zwei Aktionen: einen Fotowettbewerb und einen Aufruf an alle Klassen, mit einem originellen Klassenfoto den Bezug zur „KGS“ zu dokumentieren. Die Ergebnisse wurden im Anschluss an den Festakt präsentiert.
